Is fibreglass-mat gypsum automatically better than moisture-resistant paper-faced drywall?

Not for every application. Fibreglass mat removes conventional paper facing and can provide excellent mould resistance, while quality paper-faced moisture-resistant panels may provide the handling, finishing and performance required for ordinary humid residential rooms.
